French Republic, Trésor Central. Small perforated "SPECIMEN", ink date 1.11.43 and a number "9 49149" in top margin, "12345" red print at center in top margin. Description: Purple and pale green, Marianne at centre with torch of Liberty, value at left and right, reverse purple and pale green, scales, sword and document at centre, value low left and right. Very rare! Sold £ 8,400 at Spink in april 2014, Auction # 14008, World Banknotes (lot # 562). You can see the same note in the Schwan-Boling book "WWII, Remembered", page 103.
